Project Overview
After successfully helping our clients redesign their downtown apartment, they returned to us for a much larger challenge: overhauling their fixer-upper in the South Shore. Originally built in the 1980s, this sprawling 6,200-square-foot home was in need of significant repairs and modernization. We embraced the challenge of maintaining key architectural features that gave the home its original character, such as its exposed beams, monumental fireplace, and original pine floors, while introducing eclectic, contemporary design elements to reflect our client’s aesthetic taste and improve the overall functionality.
In addition to the structural changes, we provided comprehensive interior design services, including selecting and sourcing all FF&E, as well as accessories, lighting, and artwork.
My Contributions
Played a hands-on role across multiple phases, from the interior design conceptual phase to the final installation and styling of the spaces. Facilitated construction management by conducting site visits, supervising installations, and coordinating with vendors to help maintain the project’s timeline and quality standards. Designed and supervised installation of great room accent wall. Independently sourced and installed all accessories and décor.
